summer the flies are far worse than we ever remember them being in past years. I have been at my wit's end trying different ways to both repel and trap them. They are swarming around the chicken feed, the horse manure, and any scraps I feed the chickens. They've especially been giving our horses a really tough time, despite spraying both horses daily with fly spray, hanging sticky fly strips and making a few DIY natural fly repellents and homemade fly catchers. We've even tried putting a stinking, rotting fish into a jar, all with limited success. Clearly it was time to step up our game.
