Preparedness Challange 22

Welcome to the Preparedness Challenge! Each Saturday is your opportunity to share what you did this week to "get prepared", whether its something you bought for emergencies, a skill you learned, or something you did to become more sustainable on your own homestead. After all, theres more than one way to prepare and certainly theres more than one reason to, as well.

Our growing season is not very long here, so naturally, season extenders would be a great help. I finally broke down this week and spent some money to purchase supplies to make low tunnels and cover them. For some reason, Ive hesitated year after year to spend money on this (dont know why), but not having what I need keeps me from gardening further into the cool weather. And keeps me from getting an earlier start. Why do I procrastinate on this kind of thing? Soon Ill have several low tunnel row covers up and hopefully, something growing under them!
