week started with rain - lots of rain - which led, of course, to lots of mud and happy ducks! We welcomed my father-in-law and his Sheltie into our home for a few days midweek and then ended the week with a trip to our local Barnes & Noble where we found copies of my new book displayed prominently on the shelf! (Yes, I was pretty giddy about that!)  All in all, I have to say .... life is good.  Raising chickens (and ducks) has brought me so much enjoyment, allowed me to meet so many nice people, and sent amazing opportunities my way.  Here are a few photos from around the farm.
